May 13. 2019

It is hard to imagine that 4.5 months of being here is quickly coming to an end.

These last few months have been so good to me. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime. I have gained experiences that have changed me. I have had made some of the best memories with the best people.

It is hard to imagine what my life would be like if I never met these people or never went on this journey. This has changed my life for the better.

I now know more about myself and know what I look for in others. I have gained a better outlook on life.

Taking a leap towards your goals is so difficult, but it can lead to the most amazing things. Before this trip I lived at home, I never left the country, and I had never been on a plane. NOW I have lived across the world on a new continent that speaks a different language, I have been to 11 countries, and too many planes to count. I have made a home away from home. Torino, you will always have a special place in my heart!

To the people I have come to know and love. I will greatly miss you and I can't wait for our trips throughout the United States & of course Chile to visit each other. I can't thank you enough for helping me along the way and keeping me on my toes at all times. This experience was amazing and you all had a big part of that. So thank you!!! Much love for you all.

To the people at home. I will be home in 13 days! Wow that number has gotten so small. I am so excited to share my experiences with you and I can't wait to give you huge hugs & I am never letting go. This trip has taught me to never take your loved ones for granted.

I have also learned that mistakes happen and some are sadly more expensive than others... But in the end they are life lessons & we are able to grow and learn from them. This experience is one of a lifetime.

To the people that want to study abroad. DO IT. 11/10 it has been one of the best experiences of my life (I know I am only 20), but not many people can say they lived abroad for a 5 months. DO IT you won't regret it.

It's not a goodbye, but a see you later. Ciao Ragazzi

Signing off.
