10 days till take-off...

The day is almost here. The day that starts the trip of a lifetime.

For those who don't know me, I am Kayla, a 20 year old student at the University of Cincinnati. I have lived in Fort Thomas, Kentucky my entire life and in 10 short days I will be heading to Torino, Italy for a semester abroad.

This trip is going to include a lot of firsts for me.

- First plane trip

- First time not living with my parents

- First time out of the country

A lot is getting crossed off my bucket list!

I'm excited and nervous for this trip, but mostly excited. It'll be hard to be away from everything and everyone I know so well, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing that I know will only help me grow.

I cannot wait to share my journey with you and I hope you enjoy "Keeping up with Kayla!"
